A February Warm Spell

The warm weather enjoyed over these last few February days has got us outside pruning. On Saturday, a volunteer and I pruned the dogwood shrubs by Lake Homestead. Out with the gray wood, out with crossing rubbing branches and anything laying on the ground.

It was a great day, sunny and warm and we transformed a snarly nest into some rather nice looking shrubs.
